About Me

I work integratively which means that I can use different therapeutic practices depending on the client I am working with. I find this comes naturally to me as our relationship develops. You can be sure that you will be safe with me.

I am a qualified counsellor/psychotherapist, a Registered Member of the BACP (MBACP) and also an Accredited Registrant (MNCPS Acc).

I was a volunteer with the Samaritans for over eight years. This experience made me realise how a connection between two people can be so therapeutic. I was intrigued when I considered the impact of developing a relationship in counselling.

I have also volunteered for the NHS, working within their low-cost model of short term counselling of 6 to 12 sessions.

I currently also carry out initial consultations for The Counselling Partnership, helping people find the right kind of support.
